If I had a dollar for every time I've blown my nose (to no avail) in the past few days, I would have enough money to buy my dream home I'm pretty sure. Instead, I don't get a dollar for every time I blow my nose. I just get a snotty Kleenex.
Not nearly as awesome.
However, the one good thing about being sniffly and yucky is the fact that I get allllll day to snuggle (and chase, and throw toys for, and be chased by) my little anklebiter. :)
Annnnd when I'm not doing that, I'm filling out applications. Fingers crossed that I've come across a good lead! Praying this is the direction God wants me to take. I'm ready to get the ball rolling and start heading full speed ahead towards next June and starting a life with my beloved and our little furry family. I feel like I'm right on the cusp of great things happening...I'm just beyond ready for the great things TO happen. All in God's perfect time, though. That's what I keep telling myself.
Everything happens (and does NOT happen) for a reason. :]
